Dear Parents/Carers of students in 9Y

Apologies for the late notification, but as I highlighted earlier in the week, the situation regarding staffing levels is proving to be challenging to say the least, especially when more colleagues are still testing positive for Covid on day 5.

With this in mind and trying to keep as many of our students in school as possible, I regretfully write to inform you of the adjustments we now need to put in place for this week.

For Friday we are requesting that 9Y year group work from home returning to school as usual on Monday 28 March.

I appreciate the significant inconvenience this causes, but we have to ensure we have adequate staffing levels to safely run the school and to protect GCSE teaching at this very critical time of year.

All work will be set on Google classroom, students should follow their normal timetable. Lessons will be available from 9am - there will be no tutor period.
