Big Interview 2023
We were absolutely delighted to once again hold our Big Interview 2023 Event for all of our Year 10 students on Wednesday 8th February.
Year 10 were all given the opportunity to experience an interview which was provided by a wide range of local businesses and professionals who all very kindly volunteered to support our event, and we were also very grateful to companies that provided us with more than one representative for the day.
Students were given a mock interview by one of the volunteers in a 1:1 situation to give them preparation for their future pathways as they begin to move onto college interviews in Year 11 as well as University and job interviews in the future.
Despite the obvious interview nerves, all of our Year 10 students performed amazingly, and the feedback received from the interviewers completely supported that and were also so complimentary of our students' ability to not just express themselves, but have a focused vision of their future aspirations as well as showing a true resilience in an experience that is very much out of theirs and a lot of peoples comfort zone.
Well done to all Year 10, you were amazing and thanks to everyone involved in the day, in particular all the interviewer volunteers who gave up their valuable time to support Worthing High and its students.
