Parent/Carer Update - February 2025
We're pleased to share some updates about ClassCharts. Firstly, we want to extend a big thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked through the initial teething problems with the app and its functionalities. We're pleased to announce that along with timetables and homework, the attendance and behaviour functions are now accessible.
What You Can Access Now:
Attendance Details: Parents/carers have access to their child's attendance information. You will be able to see an overview of your child's attendance as a percentage, along with detailed insights into their daily attendance. This includes a breakdown of attendance by individual lessons or a summary for AM and PM sessions for the day. The attendance data is colour-coded for easy interpretation: green indicates the child was present, yellow means they were late, red signifies an absence, and white represents missing attendance information. To ensure accuracy, attendance details will be visible to parents with a 24-hour delay, allowing time for data verification.
Behaviour Details: You can now view comprehensive information about your child's behaviour, including both positive recognition points and any negative consequence points. The system provides graphs that display the type of behaviour, the timing, the awarding staff (for positive points), the lesson context, and the points value. If you hover over the centre of the pie chart, you can see the total points your child has gained (depending on the date range you have entered at the top of the page). Below these graphs, a list of the individual behaviour activities related to your child is also available.
If you haven't already, we encourage you to download the ClassCharts Parents/Carers App from your device's app store. It's a simple and convenient way to access these important school updates. Your login details were sent out at the start of last term, but if you haven't received them, please contact our school office at office@worthinghigh.net.

As we continue to enhance the app’s functionalities, we encourage you to explore its features. Familiarising yourself with the app will keep you up to date with your child’s performance, attendance, and other school updates.
